Spring thaw left a backyard access lane full of soggy storm debris
The morning after a hard thaw, we rolled into The Lakes at Centerra and found a narrow access lane packed with soaked branches, broken fence scraps, and mulch that had turned to heavy sludge. The air still carried that wet cottonwood smell, and the ruts kept filling with runoff from the low flood zone. The homeowner needed the area cleared fast because crews were due the same day, and the pile sat right where trucks had to turn.
We set a dumpster on solid ground near the driveway apron, laid boards where the frost had softened, and kept the placement tight so we wouldn’t chew up the yard. Our crew loaded the wet debris by hand first, then pitched the heavier fence pieces once the lane opened up. We handled the mess, you get the job done, and the contractor got back in without losing the day to cleanup.
You saved our turnaround day, and the driveway was clear before the next crew showed up.
